You think the winter slows things down? Not with us! Things keep on going when the snow falls. During the winter months, the JPII Outdoor Lab offers hut trips and snowshoeing trips at various locations in the Rockies. We are excited to have you join us as we put on our skis and strap into our snowshoes to continue our adventures across the Rockies. Our hut trips offer great time for groups to grow in community, learn winter survival skills, and to learn more about the Catholic faith.
What is a Hut Trip?
Snowshoe or ski to one of the 10t Mountain Division huts located all around Colorado. Backcountry ski Colorado’s amazing terrain or just relax in the hut, cook your own meals, melt your own water, learn basic avalanche protocol and be fully present to those around you.
